New Nokia Lumia 929 image leaks out along with possible spec and launch details

Verizon Nokia Lumia 929 white leak

Back in September and October, it seemed that we couldn't go more than a day or two without the Nokia Lumia 929 showing its Verizon-branded face around the rumor mill. The device dropped off the face of the wireless world in November, though, missing a couple of purported launch dates in the process. Live Tile lovers on Verizon will be pleased to hear that that drought ends today, as a new image of the Lumia 929 has made its way online.
A photo showing the backside of a white Nokia Lumia 929 has been posted to the WPCentral forums by user "Falorin," who was also responsible for sharing a photo and video of the 929 at the tail end of October. Falorin goes on to offer a few alleged details of the device, including a claim that it's sporting a 2510mAh battery and that that the backs of both the black and white models feature matte finishes. It's also said that the white model is going to be "limited," meaning that anyone interested in the two-tone device may want to plan on picking one up as close as launch as possible.
Speaking of launches, Falorin also claims to have some info on the Lumia 929's debut, saying that the new Windows Phone will be making its way onto Verizon's shelves around mid to late December. Considering that the last Windows Phone device to hit Verizon was the Lumia 928 back in May, I'm betting that the Lumia 929 and its combination of a 5-inch 1080p display, quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor and 20-megapixel PureView camera will be appearing on the wish list of just about every Windows Phone fan on Verizon this holiday season.
