Moto G Shells and Flip Shells available from Motorola's online store, pricing starts at $14.99

Just one day after Motorola caught us all by surprise and put the Moto G up for sale in the U.S., the company is now offering some shells for its newest smartphone as well. Both the regular Moto G Shells and the Flip Shells with magnetic front covers are now available for purchase in Motorola's official web store, with pricing set at $14.99 each for the former and $29.99 for the latter. The colors that each shell is available in are:

• Shell: Chalk, Violet, Royal Blue, Turquoise, Lemon Lime, Cherry
• Flip Shell: Chalk, Black, Violet, Royal Blue, Turquoise, Lemon Lime

Motorola says that orders are expected to begin shipping out on Dec. 2, the same date that orders of the Moto G itself are slated to begin making their journey to their buyers. The Grip Shell, which features a rubberized frame that provides extra grip and protection against impact, is slated to be available in early January. That's kind of a bummer for anyone that'd like some rubberized armor for their new Moto G, but at least the colorful rear shells and screen-protecting flip covers are available for purchase and set to ship out on the same date as Motorola's new hardware.
