The Nokia Lumia 929 will have a 5 inch screen with a 1080 x 1920 display that offers a pixel density of 441ppi. That should sound familiar to those Android users with a top-shelf model. A quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor is expected to drive the device, which will carry 2GB of RAM and 32GB/64 GB of native storage. A 20.7MP PureView snapper is on back. If there ever was a Windows Phone model that could take on Android and iOS, this is it. It takes the high-end specs on the Nokia Lumia 1520 and makes them available for those who want a 5 inch handset instead of a 6 inch phablet.
While the Nokia Lumia 929 and its nano-SIM missed out on the festivities last week in Abu Dhabi, the phone is expected to be available before Thanksgiving, which means by the end of this year, we might know whether Microsoft's mobile OS is ready to take it to the next level.
